Background Info:



Tabasco was found as a stray by a member of the public and taken to the city shelter. Everyone was surprised that a good boy like him wasn't claimed but no one came for him. It was love at first sight when we met him and we immediately tagged him for our program.

Physical Description:

Really cute boy. A little small for a male but he might not be full grown. He won't be a giant though. His body is very well-proportioned and he has the cutest facial expressions.



Living Situation:

Fostered in a home with two human adults and a 16 yo teenager, as well as a male and female Pit Bulls, a Chihuahua and a cat.

Tabasco is crated when home alone but sleeps loose in the house at night with no problem. There is a large yard with a tall privacy fence in his foster home.

​

Personality:

Tabasco is a very sweet and loving dog who still has that puppy bounce in him. He loves to collect shoes. He does not chew on them but he does make piles of them. Super funny. Foster mom describes him as a "happy, outgoing goofball".



Behavior with people:

Tabasco is definitely a snuggle bug! He loves to be with people.

Behavior with children:

While Tabasco does not currently live in a home with small kids, he has met a few 7 yo's and did wonderful. Foster mom says that he is really great with little-ones and enjoys their company



Behavior with other dogs:

Foster mom claims that Tabasco gets along with dogs like a dream. He plays well and doesn't exhibit dominant behaviors. We believe he would do well in a home with a friendly and accepting female.



Behavior with other animals:

He does very well with the cat in his foster home and shows no prey drive as of now.

Training:

He doesn't know much commands but is smart and learning. We've been told he doesn't have accidents in the house and is crate trained.

​

Best Attribute:

Tabasco is a very chill guy. He loves to lay around with you, loves to give kisses and is super snuggly.
